Where do I find it?
Sales channels > Webshop
What does it mean?
Palisis has introduced a new Webshop design that gives customers a cleaner, more modern booking experience while keeping the core Webshop functionality unchanged. The new design improves the overall navigation and booking flow, making it easier for visitors to browse products, review key details, select options and complete their purchase.
In addition to the visual refresh, the new Webshop includes extra configuration options that help operators align the customer-facing experience with their branding. These include options such as a configurable background image, improved product detail pages and updated checkout steps designed to make the purchase journey faster and more intuitive.
What should I do?
To enable the new Webshop design, go to Sales channels > Webshop, open the webshop you want to update and select Edit the webshop. From there, switch on the new Webshop setting and review the configuration before saving your changes.
Before you create or update a Webshop, check the domain setup. Your account data is already configured and ready to use, and you can create as many webshops as needed. You can either use a palisis.com domain or connect your own domain. If the Webshop will be embedded into your existing website, the palisis.com domain is usually sufficient because the end customer will not see it. If the Webshop will be used as a standalone website, we recommend using your own domain. The setup options are explained in the next section.
How to create a new Webshop
Select + New online channel to start creating a new Webshop. The first step is to choose the domain that the Webshop will use. You can either create a Webshop address hosted by Palisis or connect a domain that you already own.
If you use your own top-level domain, make sure you are the registered owner of that domain. Then contact our Support team here and let us know the Webshop domain you want to use. Our IT team will apply the required settings so the Webshop can work correctly.
Once the domain is configured, set the Webshop to Active.
Next, upload a logo for the Webshop. The logo file must be in SVG, PNG, JPG or GIF format.
Afterwards, assign the offers that should be available in this Webshop. Open the Offers tab, select the + button and choose the relevant routes or products.
You can also control the order in which offers appear in the Webshop. Select an offer and drag it up or down in the list. The order shown here is the same order customers will see in the Webshop.
You can configure additional settings for each offer individually. For more details, see the related article about configuring offer settings on your Webshop.
