Where do I find it?
Operations > Invoicing
What does it mean?
The Invoice payment method allows sales agents (partners) to pay for bookings via invoice instead of paying at the time of sale. When enabled, the agent can select Invoice as a payment option in the Box Office. The supplier then receives a draft invoice, which they can issue, track, and manage through the Invoicing module.
What should I do?
Before an agent can pay with Invoice from the Box Office, you need to enable the Invoice payment method for the partner. This is a bidirectional setting — it must be activated from the supplier's account for each agent who should have access to it. If both entities act as both agent and supplier (i.e., they sell each other's products), you will need to enable this feature from both accounts.
To enable the Invoice payment method:
Go to Sales channels > Partner management.
Select the partner and click Edit.
Navigate to the Boxoffice tab.
-
Enable the Invoice payment method.
Once enabled, the agent will be able to select Invoice as a payment method in the Box Office.
Important: The amount paid with Invoice corresponds to the deposit amount. Make sure the agent has the correct deposit configured in Partner Management. For more details on setting up deposits, see How to set up Partner Pricing.
Once the booking is completed, the supplier will find a new invoice on the Invoicing page in DRAFT status, labelled with the name of the sales agent (partner) who made the booking.
To process the invoice, the supplier should:
Issue the invoice from the Invoicing page.
Download the PDF.
Send it to the sales agent via email (outside of Palisis).
Invoice issuance and tracking work the same way for partner sales as for the supplier's own sales. For a full guide on how to issue invoices, set due dates, track payment status, and record payments, see: Your guide to the Invoicing feature.
Mandated bookings can also be paid using the Invoice agent payment account, following the same invoicing workflow described above.
How refunds are processed
When a sales agent refunds a booking that was paid with Invoice agent, the system automatically generates a credit note — an invoice with a negative amount — linked to the same partner. This credit note appears on the Invoicing page and can be issued and sent to the partner just like a regular invoice.
Good to know
The Invoice payment method is only available in the Box Office — it is not available for online or direct sales.
Each invoice is automatically linked to the partner who made the sale, making it easy to filter and track partner invoices separately.
Always verify that the deposit amount is correctly set for each partner before enabling Invoice payments, to ensure the invoice reflects the right amount.
