Where do I find it?
Setup > Packages
What does it mean?
The partner package feature allows you to significantly expand your product offering by creating a single, sellable bundle (or package) that includes items from both your inventory and the inventory of your authorised partners.
The key benefits of this approach are:
Enhanced offering: You can create attractive combo deals (bundles) that combine your core services with complementary third-party products, increasing the perceived value for the customer.
Channel integration: These bundles can be sold across all your available sales channels, including your Palisis webshop.
Consistent experience: The bundles behave similarly to selling standalone partner products, maintaining correct inventory management and permission settings.
What should I do?
To successfully create and launch a partner package, you must follow the steps below, ensuring you select the correct package version:
Package group creation
Navigate to Setup > Packages and click ‘Create package group’.
Assign a clear and consistent name to your package group. This is the name your customers will see on your Palisis webshop and on their tickets.
Navigate to the ‘Translations’ tab and add translations for all your webshop languages (you can enter these manually or use the ‘AI Translate’ functionality).
Save the Package Group.
Package creation
Click ‘Create package’ within the new group.
Enter a descriptive name (this often defines the ticket type, e.g., "Adult Entry").
Enter a consistent code.
Crucially, select version V2. Partner Packages are only supported by V2.
Enter an optional description and Save.
Adding products to the Contents tab
This is the most critical step, where you select the items to be included in the bundle.
Navigate to the Contents tab.
Add Your Own Products First: Keep the default selection, 'Own products and merchandise,' and select your own products as you would for a standard bundle.
Add Partner Products: To include third-party items, use the dropdown list at the top of the tab and select the partner’s name. You can then select the partner’s products available to you.
-
You may add a set number of products in total to a package.
Note on Booking Order: The order in which you add the products here will define the order of booking for your customers.
Final configuration
Configure the rest of the tabs (Pricing, Availability, etc.) as you would for any standard package. For further details on standard package configuration, please refer to the main support article on how to create packages.
Caveats
Please be aware of the following system requirements and limitations when working with partner packages:
System & technical limitations
V2 requirement: Partner Bundles are only supported by Packages V2.
Webshop widgets: Our current Webshop Widgets do not support Partner Bundles.
Tour importer products: You cannot use products sourced via the Tour Importer feature within a partner package.
Discounts: The system does not allow the application of discounts specifically to the third-party partner items within the bundle.
Please note that sales agent partners (such as hotels) cannot sell products sourced from a 'partner of a partner' (a sub-partner). This nested distribution model is not supported by our current system configuration.
Partnership & permission rules
Active partnership: The required partnership agreements must be fully in place between your company and the partner.
Permission status: Your partner must have explicitly granted you permission to sell the specific products you wish to bundle. If a single product is restricted via the supplier's permissions, it cannot be included in a Partner Package.
Reporting: In terms of sales reporting, bookings generated through partner packages are not 100% direct sales; a portion of the revenue will be classified as third-party sales.
Booking visibility
When viewing the booking detail page, you will see a distinction in the ticket types generated:
Partner's items: Their products will be listed as VOUCHER tickets.
Your own items: Your products will be listed as DIRECT TICKET tickets.
