Where do I find it?
Setup > Merchandise
What does it mean?
This feature is meant to be used for products which do not concern your core business. For instance, if you sell food and beverages, or merchandise like caps, T-shirts, headsets, etc.
What should I do?
First, you need to create a category like “Food & Beverages” and in that category, you then can create products like “Coca-Cola” or “Peanuts”. As usual, you need to enter a name, a code and a description (optional) for the offered product.
Following that, you can enter a different name for the package in each language available on your webshop.
Lastly, select 'Save', and the newly created category will appear on the main page.
Now it's possible to create a sub-category or directly the merchandise item. To create a sub-category, follow these steps:
- Click on the 'Create sub-category' button.
- Enter the Attributes: Name, code, VAT rate, Description.
- Enter the Translations if you offer the merchandise items on your webshop.
- Click 'Save'.
Now the sub-category has been successfully created under the corresponding category:
To create merchandise items, select the 'Create merchandise' button, then input the attributes' name, code, VAT rate, description (optional), and product image (optional).
Following that, as usual, you can use a different name for the merchandise item in each language available on your webshop. To do this, go to the 'Translations' tab, select the language you wish to translate the content into, then press the 'AI Translate' button. The system will automatically translate the content, and a new window will appear where you can review and edit the translations. You can either use the translations as is or regenerate them. Please note that you will need to repeat this process for each language you want to translate your content into. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can manually enter the translations.
Then you are required to input prices in the 'Price' tab for direct sales and partner sales for each sales channel (MPOS, Boxoffice, API, and Online). Additionally, include any relevant external costs if applicable.
Please, take into account that discounts are not applicable to merchandise.
Next, access the 'Sales date range' tab and choose a valid sales date range that specifies the duration during which this ticket will be available for purchase.
Finally, go to the 'Ticket layout' tab, choose a ticket layout and click on the '+' button.
At the end, please remember to click 'Save' to ensure your changes are saved.
