Where do I find it?
You can configure this setting from the product setup area. Open the product you want to update, then go to the Attributes tab.
Setup > Products & Services > Products > Edit Product > Attributes
The screenshots below show where to find the product and where the blackout time field appears.

What does it mean?
The pickup blackout time controls how close to departure a customer can still choose a pickup location when booking online. It gives you a clear cut-off point so you can continue selling tickets while still having enough time to organise the pickup operation.
The setting is configured per product and is entered in minutes. For example, if you enter 60, customers will only be able to choose pickup points that are scheduled more than 60 minutes after the moment they make the booking.
In practice, this means pickup points that fall inside the blackout period are hidden from the customer during the webshop booking flow. Pickup points outside the blackout period remain available.
The blackout period can be used for both relative and absolute pickup routes.
This feature applies specifically to online bookings made through the Palisis webshop.
What customers will see
When a customer books within the blackout period, any pickup points that can no longer be organised in time will not be shown as selectable options.
Depending on your product setup, customers may still be able to choose Not specified, as well as any pickup points with scheduled pickup times outside the blackout period.

Example scenario
Let’s say you set a blackout period of 60 minutes for a day tour. This means your team needs at least one hour after a booking is made to confirm and organise the pickup.
If a customer books during the last hour before a scheduled pickup time, that pickup point will not be available to them. If they book earlier than that, they can still choose pickup points scheduled later than current booking time + 60 minutes.
This helps you accept last-minute bookings without offering pickup options that your operations team no longer has enough time to arrange reliably.
What should I do?
To set a blackout time for a product, go to Setup > Products & Services > Products. Click Edit on the product you want to change, then open the Attributes tab and enter the blackout time in minutes.

Choose a value that reflects the minimum amount of time your team needs to organise pickups after receiving a booking. Consider the time needed to confirm vehicles, drivers, routes and any communication with local partners.
For example, if your tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and the blackout time is 60 minutes, a customer booking at 7:00 a.m. will not be able to choose any pickup point scheduled before 8:00 a.m. Pickup points from 8:00 a.m. onwards can still be shown, because they are outside the 60-minute blackout period.
This ensures customers only see pickup options that are still operationally realistic for your team to provide.
