How to manually edit prices on the terminal sales

What does it mean?

Manual pricing lets hardware users change an item’s price directly during the booking flow. It is intended for controlled, in-person sales when the configured price needs to be adjusted before checkout, such as an approved exception, a special customer case, or a price correction before the sale is completed.

This option applies only to your own sales. It does not apply to partner sales.

What should I do?

Manual pricing can be enabled for all devices, or only for selected devices. The setting is applied at the terminal level, not by hardware user, so first decide which devices should support manual price changes.

You can also restrict manual pricing to specific price plans, products, seat categories, passenger categories, or merchandise.

Once you know where manual pricing should apply, contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support team. Share the relevant terminal serial numbers and the products, prices, seat categories, passenger categories, or merchandise items that should support manual pricing.

How to manually edit prices on the sales terminals

Once our team confirms that manual pricing is enabled, hardware users can edit the price from the basket. When they add an applicable product, the Overview window opens automatically. They can then select the edit button, enter the new price for each ticket, and confirm the change.

Note: If the user adds more than one ticket at the same time, such as two adult tickets, the edited price applies to each individual ticket.

The booking is completed using the new final price. This is not recorded as a discount, so manual pricing does not appear in reports or booking details.
