Where do I find it?
Prices > Products & Services > Edit price > Edit prices > Ticket Layout
Open the price plan you want to adjust. If the price plan is used as a package component, these settings control the PDFs generated for that component. The same settings also apply when the same price plan is sold individually, outside a package.
What does it mean?
When a package is sold, each package component has its own price plan. By default, the system can generate a separate PDF for each component. This may be useful when every component needs its own document, but it can also create more tickets or vouchers than the customer or partner needs.
The Ticket Layout settings let you decide whether this price plan should generate a PDF. This applies both when the price plan is sold as part of a package and when it is sold individually:
Include ticket PDF: controls whether this component generates a PDF ticket for a direct sale ticket.
Include voucher PDF: controls whether this component generates a PDF voucher for a partner sale voucher.
Use these settings to keep generated documents clear and practical. For packages, you can generate one main PDF for the full package and prevent extra PDFs from being created for the remaining components. For individual sales, use the same options to decide whether that standalone price should produce a ticket PDF and/or voucher PDF.
What should I do?
Before configuring these settings, ensure your price or package and its components, if any, are created. For more information, see How to create "Packages" and How to set up "Prices".
Then configure the PDF behaviour for each relevant price plan. Remember that the setting is saved on the price plan itself, so it affects both package use and individual sales:
Go to Prices > Products & Services.
Open the price plan you want to configure. This can be a package component price plan or an individual price plan.
Select Edit price > Edit prices.
Open the Ticket Layout tab.
Set the two options according to the documents you want to generate for this price plan:
Include ticket PDF: keep it enabled if this price plan should generate a PDF for direct sales. Disable it if the price plan should not create a direct sale ticket, either when sold individually or when sold as part of the package.
Include voucher PDF: keep it enabled if this price plan should generate a PDF for partner sales. Disable it if the price plan should not create a partner sale voucher, either when sold individually or when sold as part of the package.
You can configure the two settings independently. This means a price plan can generate a direct sale ticket but not a partner sale voucher, or the other way around. Because the configuration belongs to the price plan, always consider both scenarios before changing it: package sales and individual sales.
Practical example: Your package includes a city tour, a museum visit and a meal voucher. You want customers and partners to receive only one main package document. In this case, keep the required PDF enabled for the main component, then disable Include ticket PDF and/or Include voucher PDF on the other component price plans. This avoids unnecessary extra PDFs and makes the package easier to understand.
Good to know
These settings apply to the selected price plan itself. If that price plan is used inside a package, the settings affect the package component. If the same price plan is sold individually, the same settings apply to that individual sale too.
The options are enabled by default. Disable them only when you do not want that price plan to generate its own PDF. Before disabling an option, check whether the price is also sold individually and still needs its own document.
Changing these settings helps reduce duplicate or unnecessary documents, improves the customer experience and makes partner sale vouchers easier to manage.
If a component still needs to be scanned, validated or presented separately, keep the relevant PDF option enabled.
FAQs
➕ Can I enable the ticket PDF but disable the voucher PDF?
Yes. Include ticket PDF and Include voucher PDF work independently. Use Include ticket PDF for direct sale tickets and Include voucher PDF for partner sale vouchers.
➕ Why are customers or partners receiving several PDFs for one package?
This usually happens because more than one package component has PDF generation enabled. Open each component’s price plan and check the Ticket Layout tab. Disable the PDF option for any component that should not create its own document, but remember that the same change also affects that price plan when it is sold individually.
