How to safely share passwords and credentials

What does it mean?

At Palisis, your security is our top priority. To protect your sensitive information, we ask that you never send passwords or login credentials directly via email or chat.

Why is this important?

Standard emails and support tickets are often stored permanently in logs. If you send a password in plain text, it remains in those records indefinitely. By using a secure, encrypted tool, you ensure that your credentials are only visible to the intended recipient and disappear once they’ve been used.

What should I do?

How to use kPaste to share info securely

We recommend using kPaste, a secure and private sharing tool provided by Infomaniak (a highly respected, privacy-focused Swiss company).

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Visit the site: Go to kpaste.infomaniak.com.64417fca-3086-4c63-a39e-451ce5b5c658.png

  2. Enter your details: Type or paste the credentials (username, password, etc.) into the text box.

  3. Set an expiration: We recommend selecting "After 1st consultation" or a short time frame like "1 hour." This ensures the link stops working as soon as we've accessed it.

  4. Generate the link: Click the "Create the link" button.83174eaa-77be-42bd-8767-15f3a5b98914.png

  5. Share with us: Copy the generated URL and paste it into your support ticket or reply.70922c90-c846-4d04-beb7-fc404493ee2b.png
