Palisis webshop

The Palisis Webshop is an easy-to-integrate online store that allows you to sell your tours and experiences directly from your website.
iFrame
Think of an iFrame (short for Inline Frame) as a window on a website that looks into another website.
Instead of the customer leaving the tour operator's site to go to a separate booking page, an iFrame allows the Palisis Webshop to sit right inside the operator's existing page.
There are three main reasons why a customer would choose this setup:
Brand Consistency: Maintains a unified user experience by keeping the booking process on your own domain.
Reduced Friction: Streamlines the purchase path to increase conversion rates by eliminating page redirects.
Easy Integration: Simplifies technical setup with a "plug-and-play" window that handles all booking logic.
Best practices
If you embed a Palisis Webshop in an iFrame, you'll need to make a few tweaks to get it running perfectly. Here are some best practices to make the experience much smoother for your customers.
You can further customise and brand your webshop by opening it and selecting the 'advanced' tab. From there, you can enable or disable specific parameters (i.e. layout and color, booking process etc.) to match your brand's look and feel.
Best practices:
Hide the logo: Hiding it creates a more seamless white-label experience and prevents branding duplication.
Use a book-direct URL: Optimise your conversion rate. This minimises third-party redirects, providing your customers with a faster and more reliable booking journey.
Disable menu mobile view: This removes redundant navigation and simplifies the user journey by reducing the number of steps to book.
Hide contact information: To avoid redundancy, you can remove contact details from the webshop interface. Most businesses already provide this information via a dedicated Imprint or Contact page, allowing for a cleaner, more focused checkout process. How to hide the contact details on the Webshop
Please note: Beyond these best practices, there are numerous other optimizations available by toggling specific parameters. Please note that these adjustments are often a matter of personal preference and brand style.
Good to know
At Palisis, we don't build websites ourselves; we provide the booking engine. If you're a customer of ours, you should work with your own web designer to ensure a custom fit for your site.
We share these articles with you so your web designer can consult them to set up the iFrame:
Please note: ⚠️For maximum security and a faster setup, you can easily create a sub-user account for your designer. This allows you to grant them direct access to manage the integration process while maintaining full control over your account permissions and shop settings.
