What does it mean?

The self-service admin section provides crucial functionalities for managing bookings and checking printer status. From here, you can:

  • Reprint bookings
  • Check the printer status
  • Print a test receipt
  • Process refunds

The section is divided into two main areas: Printer check and Bookings. The Printer check area allows you to verify the printer's status and print a test receipt. The Bookings section displays a list of recent bookings, enabling you to reprint them and process refunds.

Ensure the terminal has Palisis app version 4.65.3 or above installed.

What should I do?

How to check the printer status

Once you enter the admin section, you will find the printer check section on the top of the screen. Once you've entered the admin section, the Printer Check section will be visible at the top of the screen. This will display the printer's status:

  • Green: The printer status is OK. However, please note this status can also appear if no printer is connected, so always confirm by printing a test receipt.
  • Red: The printer status is not OK. If you see this, please ensure the USB cable is securely plugged in (do not switch ports). Also, check that the printer cover is properly closed, there's a paper roll present, and the printer is powered on. The software will attempt to reconnect the printer, but if it's unable to, it might display a "General error".

How to reprint a booking

The Bookings section displays a list of your most recent bookings. Please note that if a booking is not visible in this list, it cannot be reprinted from the self-service terminal.

To reprint a booking:

  1. Locate the desired booking in the list.
  2. Click on the grey area to the right of that specific booking.
  3. Select the printer icon.

The self-service terminal will print an exact copy of the original booking, including all associated tickets and the receipt.

How to refund a booking

The self-service terminal only facilitates quick refunds, meaning a full refund of the entire booking, processed back to the original payment method.

To process a refund:

  1. Locate the specific booking within the Bookings section. This section lists the most recent bookings. If the booking is not present in this list, you will need to process the refund via the back office. For further assistance with back office refunds, please refer to this article.
  2. Once you have located the booking in the list, click on the specific booking in the grey area.
  3. Click the refund icon.

The terminal will then process a full refund of the booking to the original payment method.
