How to capture passenger data on the device

What does it mean?

The Palisis app enables you to capture and save customer information using a Passenger Data Form, which appears on the checkout screen before payment is processed.

What is a passenger data form?

A passenger data form is a digital form used to collect essential details about passengers before completing a booking. This information helps operators manage bookings more efficiently and ensure smooth communication with customers.

Fields available in the passenger data form

  • Country selection – Choose a country from a searchable dropdown list. For example, typing ‘United’ will display only countries containing ‘United’ in their name. If you would like to pre-define favourite countries, please contact support@palisis.com.

  • Passenger name – Full name of the passenger.

  • Passenger email – Email address for booking confirmation and communication.

  • Passenger phone – Contact number for the passenger.

  • Comment – Any additional information related to the booking.

Where to find the collected data

Once a booking is completed, the collected passenger data will be available on the booking screen (Operations > Bookings & Tickets > Customer data) in the back office for reference and management.

What should I do?

To enable this setting on your devices, please email support@palisis.com, and we will activate it for you.

Once enabled for all or selected products, the passenger data form will appear at the end of the booking process, just before the checkout page.

Here, you can enter the customer's details.

- Filling in the form is optional; none of the fields are mandatory. Once you have entered the information, click SAVE.
- You can proceed without entering any data by clicking SAVE, which will skip this step and allow you to complete the booking.
- If you click CANCEL, the booking will not be finalised, and you will be returned to the booking screen, where you can add more tickets to the basket if needed.
- The passenger data form is requested only once per booking.
