Where do I find it?
Sales Channels > Webshop
What does it mean?
The Pickup Point Date-Time setting applies exclusively to the desktop webshop and modifies the booking process for routes with an assigned pickup route. With this option enabled, customers first select their pickup point before choosing a departure time from that location.
How it works:
- The customer selects their preferred pickup point to join the bus or transport service.
- At this stage, selecting a time is not yet required.
This setting ensures a more structured and intuitive booking experience for routes with designated pickup points.
1. The customer selects their preferred pickup point to join the bus or transport service. At this stage, choosing a time is not required.
2. The next step is to select the desired date.
3. Finally, the customer selects the departure time, which is adjusted based on when the bus or transport service reaches the pickup point.
In this example, the route is scheduled for 09:00 and 15:00. However, since the selected pickup location is set at '-30 minutes', the departure times from that point are 08:30 and 14:30, respectively.
What should I do?
You can activate this setting on the ‘Offer Configuration’ panel. To do this, go to Sales Channels > Webshop, select the webshop, then edit the offer and select the Datetime option “PICKUPPOINT”.
You should also assign a relative type of pick-up route to the product. For more information see “How to configure pick-up routes”.
