What does it mean?
With the new version of the Palisis app v4.63.X, the behaviour of external scanners is affected. They must be set to a TAB prefix; otherwise, they won’t function properly. External scanners are typically used at points of sales with a high sales volume, such as box offices or main stops for tour buses.
If you are using those scanners, you need to know how to change their suffix.
What should I do?
You should visit your scanner manufacturer's website and search for the datasheet or technical support documents with the common suffix configuration for your scanner according to the model. Then, find the “Suffix=TAB” configuration, usually a QR code, and scan it with your scanner.
For example, for the following Datalogic models, this is the QR code corresponding to the TAB suffix.
