What does it mean?
Reservations are unpaid bookings that remain flexible and editable. Once payment is processed, a reservation is converted into a confirmed booking and can no longer be modified.
In practice, editing a reservation generates a new record with updated details while preserving your original reference or shortcode. Please note that modifications are limited to adjusting passenger categories (e.g., adding a child to a reservation of two adults). To modify other elements, such as adding new products, you must cancel the current reservation and create a new one.

How to edit reservations from the Backoffice
To edit an existing reservation, follow these steps.
Locate the reservation: Navigate to Operations > Tickets & Bookings, search for your specific reservation, and click to open it.
Click the main action button and select 'Edit Reservation'.
Review the basket: You will be redirected to the Basket page, which is now pre-filled with the original reservation data. A green top bar will appear, indicating that you are officially in 'Edit Reservation' mode. Click the 'Edit' button to return to the booking process.
Modify passengers: Here, you can adjust the number of passengers or add/remove passenger categories.
Example: To remove children from a booking, set the 'Child' category count to zero and click 'Update Basket'.
Proceed to checkout: Once your changes are made, navigate to the Checkout page.
Note: The passenger details and the assigned UID (highlighted in green) will remain unchanged throughout this process.
Finalize the Update: Click 'Update Reservation'. The system will automatically cancel the old record and generate a new one, preserving the original passenger details and UID.
How to edit reservations from the Box Office
Reservations can also be edited directly within the Box Office. The process remains the same: simply navigate to Bookings, open the reservation screen, and click the 'Edit Reservation' button at the bottom of the page.
