Where do I find it?

Account > Product Categories > Seat Categories

 

What does it mean?

Seat categories define the different types of seats or classes you offer. If you do not offer more than one category, you still must register at least a placeholder (i.e. standard) in order to work with the system. You need to register here all seat types across your business. For example 1st class, 2nd class, Standard etc. 

You must specify the appropriate prices for each chosen seat category later in the corresponding section under Products > Prices.

What should I do?

Enter all the seat categories you use and choose a useful code (you'll need them in Products > Prices again in order to identify the seat category).

Seat categories are also important for capacity management, as you can assign a different capacity for each one.

How to configure "Capacity templates"?

 

When using our online shop, please ensure to input the seat category name in every language available on the 'Translations' tab. To do this, go to the 'Translations' tab, select the language you wish to translate the content into, then press the 'AI Translate' button. The system will automatically translate the content, and a new window will appear where you can review and edit the translations. You can either use the translations as is or regenerate them. Please note that you will need to repeat this process for each language you want to translate your content into. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can manually enter the translations.
