What does it mean?
This article will explain the process of configuring multiple languages for the Palisis webshop. Palisis not only gives you the option to show your products’ descriptions in multiple languages but also enables you to have the whole webshop interface, as well as ticket layouts, in the selected languages.
What should I do?
First of all, you must configure which languages you would like to display for webshop products. In order to do so, please consult this article about “How to configure online-shop languages”.
Now that you have set up the languages, the system will allow you to add the description of the product in each of these languages. Head to Configuration > Transportation > Routes, click on the corresponding route and insert the description in the Online-shop field. Before you start writing the description, select the language you want to use from the dropdown.
All the chosen languages will be reflected in the Business data. Enter the English description for en and save changes. After that, you can continue with the rest of the languages; in this case, es for Spanish and fr for French.
Besides the product description, you can also configure different date formats, labels, etc. for every language. Go to Configuration > Sales channels > Online-Shop (Desktop), and click on the two dots button of the corresponding webshop. The configurable tools can be found under these four fields:

The only way to check how it looks on the webshop is by accessing it. As you can see, the description is correctly displayed.
Apart from the description, you can see that all the functionalities are showing in the target language and form.
When you visit your webshop, by default it will be shown in the language of the country you are accessing it from. An easy way to switch the language of the webshop is by changing the URL form. For example, for the English webshop, the URL is: https://patriciatest.palisis.com/?locale=en.
If you want to see the Spanish version enter https://patriciatest.palisis.com/?locale=es.
For other languages, change the /?locale=<language> code.
