Dear Palisis customers
On Wednesday the 7th of February 2018 we will update Palisis Ticketing to version 4.26.0. The two most important improvements to Palisis Ticketing are the following:
New handling of the passenger data fields:
In the past the data a webshop customer could or had to enter was determined by settings on the webshop level (Configuration > Sales channels > Online Shop (Desktop) > “2-point-option” > Customer data):
We recognized that this wasn’t a perfect solution: In many cases, the amount of information that a tour operator seeks is dependant on the tour and not the webshop where the tour is sold. Also, the data requested from the customer should always be the same, no matter where he buys his voucher or ticket.
This is why we move this setting to the Operation line level (Configuration > Transportation > Operation Lines > “2-point-option” > Customer data):
IMPORTANT:
If you don’t work with the default settings for passenger data, manual configuration is required.
Because of this change from webshop-based setting to operation line-based setting, we changed the way we handle this update. We made a small update this morning that enables you to already configure the settings, which will be used after the full feature release on Wednesday. We wanted to be on the safe side and ensure that the update won’t disrupt your webshop sales.
Please check your new passenger data settings as soon as possible and amend them to your operational needs (Configuration > Transportation > Operation Lines > “2-point-option” > Customer data). THANK YOU!
If you don’t take any action all your webshops will fall back to the default configuration:

Reporting: Save Views
We’ve seen that many customers regularly request the same reports and filters in the At a glance report. Therefore we’ve created a feature to save a configuration.
Once you have configured all the possible settings and filters to your liking you can save this report in the bottom-right corner. In the following window you can determine the Name, a description and if this report is for your eyes only or available for every backoffice user in your account:
Once a report is saved you can reopen it at any time:
In case you have any questions about the upcoming release, you are very welcome to send them to support@palisis.com. Thank you very much for your attention and time!
