What does it mean?
This feature is the first step to displaying your offers properly and well arranged. You need to set up which tours your company offers. As an example, you have an Airport Shuttle and also a Daytour, they both run under the Business unit “Bus” but are completely different tours. In this feature, you can differentiate between the two and make two different operation lines with individual configurations.
What should I do?
Fill in all the required information for your operation line:
- Name: Enter the Name of your tour (e.g. Red Line 24h).
- Description (This is a default description for the Webshop, which means, that, if you don't have configured a description in every language, the system will use this default description): You should enter what the tour is about.
- Code: Enter a short form of the tourname which will be displayed in "Routes" and "Priceplans").
- Passenger per ticket mandatory: If you check this box it means, that it is required for the customer to add information of all travellers in one booking made in the webshop and the boxoffice (excluding widgets).
- Sync Capacity to TourCMS: Activate this option if the capacity is to be synchronised to TourCMS.
- Sync Price to TourCMS: Activate this option if the price is to be synchronised to TourCMS.
- Check availability in TourCMS: Activate this option if the availability must be checked in TourCMS.
- Use Price from TourCMS: Activate this option if the price of TourCMS is to be taken
- Device booking to TourCMS: Activate this option if you want the device bookings going from Palisis to TourCMS.
- Boxoffice booking to TourCMS: Activate this option if you want the Boxoffice bookings going from Palisis to TourCMS.
- Webshop booking to TourCMS: Activate this option if you want the Webshop bookings going from Palisis to TourCMS.
- Notification (E-Mail): Enter an e-mail address if you want to be informed per automated e-mail whenever a customer has booked a tour
- Alert Notification Emails: If you go to Configuration > Business Data > Capacity-Templates you can define alarm levels for each capacity-template. If the pre-bookings for any given departure surpasses the entered alarm value of its capacity, automated emails are triggered to inform you and your staff of this fact. The recipient(s) of those emails can be entered for each Operation line individually. You can inform multiple recipients by entering all their email addresses separated by a comma (,).
- Cancellation Notification Emails: Enter an e-mail address if you want to be informed per automated e-mail whenever a customer has cancelled a booking
- Receipt-Layout: Which one of your created receipt layouts should be printed for this operation line.
- Business Unit: Enter the business unit to which the operation line belongs to.
- Capacity Templates: Assign the according capacity template to the operation line.
Please take notice of three aspects of this capability:
- Three alarm levels can be configured: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level. The 1st level value should always be lower than the 2nd and the 2nd should be lower than the 3rd. Each time a booking for an event is made, the capacity alarm levels are checked. Once an alarm level is reached the inherent alarm will be triggered and an email is sent. Higher alarm levels can only be set if the corresponding lower levels have been set.
- Now if you had your 1st and maybe the 2nd alarm for a departure you might choose to change its capacity in the pre-bookings screen (Operation > Pre-bookings). This action will reset those alarms so that they can be automatically triggered again. Changing the capacity template in the Operation line or changing the Capacity Alarm level within the capacity template will NOT reset the alarms.
- We gave you the capability to set those limits in total and/or specified on the seat category level. You can use just one or both at the same time. It’s completely up to you.
- Pick-up route: Decide which one of your previous created pick-up routes is the one used for this tour (not mandatory if you don't have a pick-up route).
- VAT Rate: The VAT Rate should already have been set. But if there is a special rate that only applies to this specific operation line you could set that here.

Please ignore the setting for Online-shop layout as this setting can’t be changed by you. The Return check-in deadline allows you enter a time in days, how long a ticket remains valid after the first usage.
